God
has given a vision to various people over the years to offer
a postsecondary residency program here at Wesley Acres. We are
pleased that this vision is now coming to fruition. The Pillars
Leadership Academy is an eight-month, experiential learning
program intended for those who have graduated from Grade 12
and who would like to take a year to seek God’s direction
for their life. Perhaps you are currently working or enrolled
in a college or university program, but are not sure that this
is your true purpose in life. This program is designed to help
you through this important decision-making time, and to help
you find your direction.
Pillars
offers an introduction to life away from home, while allowing
students to gain transferable university credits in Bible Studies
and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), complimented
with Royal Conservatory music lessons, personal finance seminars,
mission trips, outdoor adventure and many more exciting and
valuable programs.
Pillars’ students will grow together and have the opportunity
to minister in many different ways over the course of the program.

During
their time at Pillars, students will live and serve at Wesley
Acres Camp, situated on our 250-acre island, in the middle
of West Lake. Located in historic Prince Edward County,
this picturesque area has the culture, sophistication and
amenities, usually associated with the metropolitan areas,
yet remains very much a quaint rural area, with all the
charms of country living.
The
region is renowned for its sailing, fishing and giant sand
dunes. The County also offers live theatre, artist’s
studios and galleries, unique regional cuisine and spectacular
flora and fauna.
The
county is only 20 minutes from Belleville, 90 km from Kingston
and central to many major cities including Toronto, Ottawa,
Montreal, Syracuse and Buffalo. Yet while being close to
these larger areas you remain set-apart from the distractions
and concerns, making the Pillars campus an ideal location
to develop your character, focus on hearing God’s
voice, and to discern God’s call on your life.

Fees
The
application fee of $75.00 is to be submitted along with
application form. Once you have been accepted you will pay
a confirmation fee of $1,750.00 to hold your place in the
Pillars program.
Total price for the year is $10,750.00 for tuition, room,
board, textbooks, missions trips, activities and experiences.
The
$1,750.00 deposit paid is applied against this cost.
Tuition tax receipts will be provided by the appropriate
University, while Wesley Acres will provide tax receipts
for Room, Board and Program fees
